Where It All Began
The Daggabay Trails shirt project was never intended to be just another piece of branded merchandise.
From the beginning, the goal was to create something that represented the community while helping support causes that could make a real difference. The idea was simple: if people were going to wear the Daggabay Trails name, that apparel should stand for something more than a logo.
Like many community initiatives, there were costs involved. Rather than carrying those costs alone, businesses and supporters within the community were invited to become part of the project.
What followed was something far greater than originally imagined.
Businesses, entrepreneurs, creators, and supporters stepped forward, not simply to have their logos displayed, but to be part of something meaningful.
The Businesses Behind the Shirts
One of the most distinctive features of the Daggabay Trails shirts is the collection of logos displayed on each design.
These logos represent businesses that chose to support the project and the causes associated with it. Some are established brands, some are small family businesses, and others are run by people who have been part of the Daggabay community for years.
Their support turns an idea into action, helping cover production costs so that more funds can be directed where they are needed most.

Supporting Causes That Matter
One of the most rewarding aspects of the project has been the opportunity to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Among these was a campaign supporting Down Syndrome awareness and initiatives benefiting Shelly and the residents of Cosmos Home. Through the support of the community and participating businesses, funds raised helped purchase a much needed washing machine for Cosmos Home during the 2025 campaign.
More recently, the Daggabay Trails Autism Awareness campaign once again demonstrated the willingness of both businesses and community members to rally behind an important cause.
These projects show what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose.

As the project has grown, we’ve also had opportunities to create custom apparel for supporters looking for something tailored to their own needs. One example was a custom sporting hoodie where collaborator logos were incorporated into the design, creating a unique garment that reflected both their identity and their support of the initiative.
Our cycling jerseys have become a familiar sight at mountain biking events and group rides, proudly showcasing the supporters who continue to back the project year after year.
